The primary flaw in this product is it's primary selling point: The voice changer feature. As sadly expected, it's a pile of electronic worthlessness. Sounds at best like a shorted out fast-food speaker. The item scores high marks in the detail department, however. The finish, the chromed detailing on the face, which is actually a separately installed piece and size make it worthy. The Target and Rubies helmets are way too large and will throw off the look of any costuming attempts. In spite of the poor electronics, I'm good with it.

This is an alleged Black Series item, which is sad really. Hasbro should be embarrassed to put this product out on the market. The helmet itself is a good replica, lots of details and seems durable enough. The voice changer itself is absolute garbage. It's an endless echo of feedback and noise and nobody can make out a single word you say with it. This went immediately back to the store.

If you're an adult man-child like me you're gonna wanna get out a Phillips head and take out the nose piece. Also the modulator sounds silly in a mans voice. Think distorted Andre the giant. One more thing the goggles fog up and it's impossible to play guitar and wear this helmet at the same time. My chin also hangs out but it's cool cause my beard makes it ok. Hope this helps

Overall, this helmet is wonderful and definitely worth your money if you collect Star Wars memorabilia or are just a diehard fan. The one dislike that I have with the helmet is the voice changer. It's uncomfortably vibrant when you talk through it and it sounds not so decent.

The detail on this helmet is stunning, especially for under 100 dollars. As an added bonus, the whole thing is exceedingly easy to disassemble for modification. For me I had to move the microphone and remove the lenses to make room for my HUGE head. My only real gripe would be the size and location of the battery pack... they put it in the top of the head which makes it really front-heavy and it eats up a lot of otherwise usable space, but then again it is all removable. Great for kids, and especially great for adult cosplayers who don't want to blow a car payment on an Indie-made helmet. 9.5 out of 10!
