I am a big fan of Star Trek and own all of the original series, so I just had to have the new movies . I love all 3 of the new movies, each one keeps you engaged in the action and sitting at the edge of your seat. If you like Star Trek you will enjoy these movies.

Seems made according to some generic and politically correct menu checklist, action-check, diversity-check, LGBT representation-check. And oh-by-the-way let's throw a script together to go with the checklist. Still pretty good, but not nearly enough story and character development for the Star Trek tradition. Some good actors help carry the weak script.
