i bought the original deck crew to go with this i did not realize they were a different scale. my son likes the larger people and uses them . except for the transporter has to have the smaller guys. also to complete the deck you need to find the people that have "deck part listed on the box"like "b 14" .

Wow! Playmates really blew it on this one. They fact that they sold this and then did not follow up on their commitment to produce the final pieces is a small factor in this horrible product. They same company that made the solid Next Generation Bridge playset really failed here. The floor of the Bridge is equilivent to a big fruit roll up lol. Thin plastic paper thin and the chairs and stations attatch to nothing. Its entirely to large for the tiny action figures. You bump it and it falls over like chess pieces on a game board. I realize i am 13 years late here but they have more Star Trek toys coming out over the next few years and if this is any indication of the thought they put into their products CBS/Paramount should really contract a different company for their merchandise because they will only be dissapointing their customers and hopefully lose sales. I'm a Star Trek fan and this is a more modern toy. The grandkids may not understand the show but they understand outer space. I enjoy watching them enjoying playing with it. It's assembled, compact and ready to use.

We bought this to play with and not just collect. As a toy, it's lots of fun and is being enjoyed in many hours of sci-fi imagination play. The figurines are a bit delicate in the joints so handle with some care.
