Regretably, just another remake of Wrath of Khan and a bad one at that, convoluted and over the top, not a good send off for the characters. The extras are lame, another Paraborg rip off.

When I first watched it with friends, they were disapointed, well Star Trek is not like "Matrix" anyway. Me being somewhat familiar with franchise felt to it like it was good ST movie but not to the match TNG-last-movie must be. Well after some time I have rewatched it and my impression turn out to be higher than before. This movie getting better the more you see it. I start to notice some unnoticed good points in it. The whole idea fot this movie is great. Besides it very smart movie: battle scenes have some real tactics in it and play of Picard vs Shinson is something of high quality. But some scenes are completely unnecessary. For example that scene on the planet gathering B4 - its dumb and stupid it makes no sense. I tell you it was made just for action but action without sense and purpose - is stupid action. They better make that scene few minutes long just to show what they have found (B4) on the surface. And more other time spend on the crew so movie wouldn't be so Picardocentrical. Anyway its a good movie and if not for the minor lacking in scenery it would be 5 stars - to support even movies tradition. I already have about five 2DVD Col Ed Star Trek movies - and they all are great. Just a lot of stuff to whatch and listen. So Col Ed of NEMESIS add a half of star to final score making it 4.5 - worth to picking it out _// -= Live long and prosper fellas =-Read full review
I really enjoyed the plot of Nemesis, with both Captain Picard and Data having doppelgangers to deal with, not to mention the Romulans. I liked seeing the characters starting to move on in their lives, seeing some old friends return from the past (Guinan) to help other character celebrate the start of new lives together. The ending was spectacular and shocking but left room for hope for TNG fans. I bought it because for some unknown reason I missed seeing it when it came out in theaters.
I love Star Trek and the price was great, especially for the 2 disc edition!
