The DOD FX60 Chorus pedal is a true sleeper. While some musicians chase boutique pedals and their extravagant prices, this little pedal quietly does what it does quite well and affordably. Though plain jane in appearance, the FX60 is an analog chorus pedal that uses bucket brigade technology to create everything from hardened, almost flanged sounds to lush, beautiful chorusing. At its most extreme settings, it still manages to sound musical with warbling vibrato. Try that with a digital pedal! Being analog, it doesn't just sit on top of your sound like its digital counterparts; rather, it becomes part of your sound. I highly recommend this pedal!
In my opinion this is clearly the best chorus pedal for the money in the world. Aside from the value, the sound is the best and equals the tone of the famous boss ce2... hands down, point blank, period.

I wanted to get a chorus sound that did not sound digital. I wanted an Analog chorus pedal that I remembered from my younger days. I started my search on Ebay (which is the perfect place to search) and soon found many pedals, so now to sort thru them. I have purchased several different types of chorus' but none had that "special" something I was seeking. I read reviews and then I found this DOD FX60, (the older one). I bought it for $45 (if I remember right) and as soon as I plugged it in I knew I had what I was looking for. Nothing but great sounding analog chorus! The only thing I really don't like is the relay switching that DOD used, but if it works I can live with that. If it goes out I will seek someone to repair it, it sounds that good! If I am asked I would recommend this to anyone if a great rich chorus is what they seek.Read full review
This thing is great. Old '80s analog seems like the way to go. If you can find one in good condition, I highly recommend it. Two simple controls for speed and depth is all you really need. Well-built and heavy. Haven't figured out how to use the "stereo" function yet. There is only one output on the pedal so not sure how to use it as a stereo effect. But it does say "Stereo Chorus" right on the front of the pedal. It's a poor man's version of the Boss CE-2, but I can honestly say it's almost as good.
I love this pedal so much I took back my Boss CE digital chorus. BUT be advised this is an old pedal , it will not take a regular Boss center negative barrel type power adapter. You need a 9-10 v positive tip power supply jack . Also, even tho this is a stereo pedal there is only 1 output jack. So you need a stereo tip jack with a split send. I found all these things on Ebay for reasonable prices and the sound from this pedal makes it worth it. I turn this thing on and it sounds so sweet. I smile when I play it.
