I'm on week three of treating a anhidrosis horse with this product. So far no improvement what so ever. He's panting under his misting fan. Not sweating much. If I can't rehome this horse to a cooler climate he will have to be humanely euthanized. About the actual product: This powdery substance clumps and is difficult to measure. It smells like stale ocean water and tastes like sea-salt. The horse eats it as a top dressing to his feed. He likes it and licks the feeding pan clean.

My Percheron-cross gelding has on-going anhidrosis, especially in the miserable hot humidity of southern Florida in the summer. This is the only product, other than an occasional beer, that helps him sweat.
