Not much to this one. Single passive humbucker, volume knob, and tone knob. That's it, which is part of the appeal for me. I like simplicity. The neck is fairly thin and easy to work with, and the frets are well finished with no sharp ends. I have no issue with fret buzz on mine, either, even with the action fairly low, which is a pretty common issue on cheaper instruments. This isn't a multi-thousand dollar custom, but the overall fit and finish are pretty darn decent, and the instrument is solid enough. I also have an Ibanez Mikro Bass, which is in the same class as this one, that I've beaten the heck out of over the last few years, and it's still going strong. I expect to get similar longevity out of this one. Ibanez comes through once again.

took 10 mins to adjust truss rod and set intonation. bass electronics are very well designed, tone is everything i could ask for. this is the first fretted electric bass i have ever owned, i have a fretless j and a fretless p and wanted to experiment with a musicman style pickup and round wounds, very impressed

I played many years ago and I am starting back up again. This bass has good play, the neck is just right and my wife loves the way it looks. A great buy!

Set up to perfection from the factory. Nothing had to be adjusted leveled, sanded, and holds tune very well. Above and beyond value!
