It has a small footprint, yet well made solid tool. Despite its appearance it is not in the least bit heavy. Throw in a shell adjust the holding tabs with an allen wrench, so that it is secure, but slightly loose. This is done with the handle held down so the alinement and setting pin sets inside the empty primer pocket. First time took 2 minutes. When I change calibers again it would be a 30 second job. Nothing is 100%, here are the 2 problems, although minor. It would be nice if the primer tubes held a complete box of primers or you got 2 of each size in the box. Last of all, the primer holding area behind and under the handle works but is not the idea situation. There are 3 hole for securing it to a board, bench or metal plate if desired, screw and/or bolts not included. Feel is fantastic. You know when the primer is seated and there is no way it could be crushed or twisted or deformed. The depth is a uniform 5 thousandth below the ream. I have a lot of other methods for priming and reloading equipment by Lee and other fine companies, all work and are well engineered. Forster is becoming my favorite one. Truth be told if I did not already own other equipment this company would get most of my business.Read full review

I have had every type of primer tool I know of and this is the best. I would how ever tell you I took an old lee hand primer tray and cut a slot in the back and ground to size with a drummel tool to load the tubes, I will also buy several more tubes so I can load on mass

I had a need to prime some off cases for a friend and was able to use the unique features of this unit - I have other hand held units that I use more often but this is a well made unit - just mount it on a board and clamp to your bench ( you need to be able to tilt it so it needs to be removable)

If you use the primer tray that is made for the seater the primers go in much easier than the Dillon or RCBS seaters. The seater is very reliable and fast if you let the handle raise enough, the feel of the seater is great. The one negative is that the primer tubes will only hold about 60 primers.

This priming tool works great for me, mounted on a small board to stabilize for better control. Also purchased primer loading tray, worked excellent. 100 cases primed quickly, seated perfectly and way more comfortable than a hand primer. Highly recommend
