I felt like I was reading my daily horoscope in the penny saver newspaper -- that's how vague the Tarot descriptions were! Many times the author just assed out and said, "love yourself and love god. Be open to happiness." Huh? Painful, amateurish, and not even worthy of a thrift store donation (I wouldn't want to subject someone else to this!).

This book is a way over simplified version of this tarot deck, and on many occasions actually contradicts what the booklet that comes with the deck says. Would not recommend if you are actually wanting to learn about Tarot or this deck!!

I bought this book thinking the authors had neatly categorized the symbology of each card. However, upon reading through the material, I can see it’s not well-researched and does not offer unique or even correct insights.

I wish I had this booklet when I started. It would of helped a lot.
