For the price this is great, and definitely an improvement over using your smartphone. It is on the lower end of the portable digital players available ..that is when compared to the entire spectrum of players that range from about $20 to over $3,000. Paired with a good pair of ear phones and some lossless music files you will not be disappointed, especially for the price. Pros: -Very easy to use, just drag and drop your music files onto the player or a micro sd card (then insert into player). FYI, you can rip CD's directly to this player too. Couldn't be easier to use. -UI controls are easy to navigate and understand -Light weight yet rugged. -Works great and easily w/ both MAC and PC (shows up as a hard-drive on your computer). Cons: -"jog" dial is a bit annoying to use especially when scrolling through hundreds of songs. I'd prefer a side jog dial (like seen on many of the high end portable players).Read full review

Pyle may be great in the auto industry for speakers and amps. ect. , this falls short in ease of use,and overall performance. the scroll wheel is a pain to utilize as its 2 turns for 1 rotation on the screen, eq`s are basic and nothing great. Need your own micro card loaded before it plays you music, there is no software from the company on this item, i checked with a email, and no plans in the near future. basically you`ll need some know how on creating your own playlist and library . sound is tinny the highs overpower the mids, and the lows overpower both the mid and highs., cheap price but not worth the hassle

Player sounded great but it would only play for 30 to 40 seconds then it would turn it's self off. I contacted Pyle tech reformatted the player still would shut off. My laptop would never sync with it either it never recognized it. My advice buy another brand.

This is a good walkman for the Pirate Bay user. The Analog Part is superior for a portable device with a decent pair of headphones of around $60. It uses exFAT for mounting so don't expect miracles for car connectivity. The digital part has a lot of snags but if you are handy with computers that is all they are. Good buy at 64 with shipping included. I got this through Bozo's The Richest Man In The World Website.

It’s not horrible but, you can buy a earlier FIIO for the same kind of money and have a better overall player and experience. Remember, at the end of the day, it’s s Pyle and you get what you pay for.
