My horse crazy kid squealed with pure delight when the Saddle Club Horse Crazy DVD arrived on our doorstep, thus my motivation for purchasing it. The heart of the story is centered around a The Saddle Club; a group of horse loving girls who ride English style at Pine Hollow. Horse Crazy: The New Movie contains behind the scenes footage of actual horse training as well as amusing behind the scenes outtakes that are a hoot. I confess the story line is a little hokey for my tastes as an adult, but my daughter and her pre-teen and teen friends love it! Horse Crazy reveals the special bond between girls and their ponies, and the Saddle Club TV series has captured the hearts of horse crazy kids. This movie is an enhanced and longer version of the TV series story lines, and provides young viewers with just the right amount of pre-teen drama, budding romance and coming-of-age conflict. Horse Crazy is is peppered with suspense and scenes between main characters: Carole, Stevie and Lisa and their horses Belle, Commanche etc. You can find it at a reasonable price and the movie is a little over an hour and a half long :)Read full review
this movie is a must for children that love horses, my daughter that is 4-years old, loves horses she takes riding lessons once a week, she loved this movie, and to be honest it was a movie i enjoyed too! I would recommend this movie to kids of all ages, I don't have to worry about her seeing or hearing anything that i would not want her too. I like how it shows the children with the horses all the time and how much they love them and take care of them.
This is a very easy to watch film that any young horse lover will totally enjoy. Based on the books with the same name and characters, this movie follows the drama and adventure around a riding academy. Young equestrians will enjoy the story and characters as well as the horses!
I bought this for my daughters b-day. She loves it!!! I bought it because she loves the books. She really loves animals and says she wants to be a vet when she gets older.
What could be better than young kids with horses. It shows kids how to handle situations around horses and in the world. Great show. My 20month old twins like it too.
