The power output is very good for what you're paying for. The 5 channel wiring makes it simple to add a sub without needing a separate preamp wire and crossover or cap. I installed it in a 2013 Mustang with upgraded 6x8's in factory locations and a 12" sub and Kenwood head unit. It will go louder than I'll ever turn it to while still staying crisp and clear. Much better than the older Kenwood eXcelon 4 channel that it replaced.

This is a GREAT all around amp. Great price and great quality. Running 5 full channels, pushing 4 Polk Audio comp series speakers on the first 4 channels. One comp 10" on the sub output. This is by far the best set up ive found for all around full range sound with way more thump than I thought it would have. This amp will push all the speakers as far as you can stand it. Sound and quality is amazing. You won't be disappointed. Would buy again hands down!!!
The main problem I have with it isn't necessarily against just this model but all five channels I see. I wish ALL CHANNELS had a full range and you did not have to use the 5th for subs only. Especially with all the really nice 6,7 and 8 in speakers that do large ranges of sound

get this amp this amp replaced the massive nx3 i used to have and this thing has balls im runing 2 8inch kickers and two front speakers and at three hundred watts to the subs is unreal compared to the 400 watts in 2 olhm from the massive nx3. once u hear what three hundred watts sound like from this kenwood u would not want to run the amp n 2 olhm. i can imagine what 500 watts would sound like. this is the perfect amp to run your whole system. i never heard my music metal and country sound so good and hard hitting
It is a good amp it pumps some standard power in a small space. Matching the OHMs is a bit of a pain if your a new comer especially for door speakers. Overall good value for ebay price but not store price.
