This is my 2nd 1DC. I am a huge fan of the image quality of the stills as well as the video of course. I don't normally use DSLRs for my work and as a rule, do not like them. Except for the 1DC. The only lagging feature on the camera (and it could be because this one was used or because of the lens option) is the slow auto focus. Apart from that, of all the DSLRs on the market, this is the only one that I enjoy.

Many cameras out today to chose from. The 1dc is older but the 4k image is great. The mjpeg is easy to transcode to prores. Using topaz video ai for slow motion. Its a very small package for this work horse thats built like a tank. With a lens, monitor, tripod and a external audio recording its hard to beat for the price. I have 3 of the canon 1dc's the only thing missing is auto focus and Ibis. The camera I really want is the sony fx3 but that with a lens is way more then my all 3 canon 1dc's with lenses, monitors and a audio recording setup. Yes there are a lot of great cameras out today but for the price the 1dc works for my work flow. Please don't buy any so I can get another.

The Canon C-log on the 1Dc are the best for the money on 2020!! Dynamic Range is great on video and The colors are beautiful! This still a Great camera for professional film making and pictures if you know how to work with this classic beast.

Had a 1DX before; 1DC is similar but the older, more capable brother. Performance is unflinchingly solid. A master of a DSLR. Only wish it had built in ND filter but hey, it’s a world class DSLR as well a great cinema rig.
