Good for mood balance and immunity.
I have used this for over 5 years. I take (2) 5,000 I.U. soft gels per day. The RDA on foods of 400 I.U. is only the BARE MINIMUM required to avoid disease/dysfunction. It is also a RDA based on testing of Caucasian males. Other races and ethnicities need varying amounts of Vitamin D. Also, people are deficient in colder climates. Science has proven it takes over 3 hours sitting in direct, height-of-the-day sunlight while having large swaths of skin exposed (like while wearing a swimsuit), just to absorb 1,000 I.U. from the sun. Therefore, sunlight is not a reliable source. Supplementation or getting Vitamin D from foods is imperative. I have used this for over 5 years. I take (2) 5,000 I.U. soft gels per day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I have a chronic Vit D deficiency because I'm Sun-Sensitive. The product began reversing the effects of my Vitamin D deficiency (Splitting nails, frizzy hair, craping skin ..even helped with the depression) all within a few doses. it. Now I'll cut back to a maintenance dosage so the 2nd bottle should last though the expiration date,, at which time I intend to reorder.
