This is the American version of the original Christmas Carol with Reginald Owen and Gene Lockhart to which there has never been an equal produced in my humble opinion. Great story, great acting and a total enjoyment to watch. They spent five hours each shoot to make up Henry Winkler's face to appear the old miser he portrayed. I recommend this video to ALL with a Christmas Spirit.
