Tori Amos always gives great tracks, nothing is a waste of her talent to sing, play and compose, and even to proyect ideas. I usually buy all Tori Amos CD’s in the moment of the relies but I wasn’t much impress with the last two albums (“The beekeeper” and “American doll posse” ) I like them but are not as fascinating as the other masterpieces she usually gives. So for this reason I wasn’t so exiting to buy “Abnormally attracted to sin.” So I wait. Suddenly I see a great offer from this e-bay seller, and it was a nice price and the original limited edition. So when I finally got it at home, I hear it… and WOW!!, I was more than please. In my humble opinion, this album is the best seens 2002 “Scalet’s Walk.” It was refreshing to hear the classic Tori Amos style again and recover. I was also please to get the special limited edition CD/DVD (include all videos form ever 17 song form the album.) So a couldn’t be more happy. Favorite tracks: “Starling” “ Give” “Flavor” “Maybe California” “Fire to your Plain” “That guy” and of course “Abnormally attracted to sin.”Read full review
Tori Amos' recent album, Abnormally Attracted to Sin, is well worth the price of admission. Similar in scope to "Beekeeper" and "American Doll Posse", this album is full-length in the best sense of the word, over a full hour of music and each song holds muster in its own right, rather than just being filler. Songs such as "Not Dying Today" are upbeat and multidimensional. "Mary Jane" is poignant and brilliant, with deep, sultry vocals. Mac Alladin played electric guitar on many tracks, and positively rocks. This album is eternally listenable and lends credence to Tori's stellar essence. If you are already a fan it's a no brainer. If you've never heard her before, you might as well now!
I am a diehard Tori fan, so don't misunderstand, but I was disappointed in her last few albums. The songs seemed more mellow and less edgy. Not so with Attracted to Sin. Welcome To England, Mary Jane, and especially Strong Black Vine are a return to her earlier work, and reminded me why I keep listening. This is a really good album!
Came is perfect time and was in great shape. Listened to the entire CD and it was in perfect condition. Thank you so much! I have completed my collection.
