Concert took place in late 1972 but the actual record didn't see the light of day until l974 (so I've heard). 'Live in London' shows the curious fan (like myself) just how Amon Duul II was able to master their sound and vibe when playing a live gig as such. This is a very strong performance, I thought. Songs here are mostly off 'Yeti' and 'Tanz Der Lemmings' albums. Tunes here I was more than impressed with were the awesome opener "Archangel Thunderbird", the rocking "Eye Shaking King" and "March Of The Seventies". Two bonus tracks are good to hear as well - the seventeen-minute "Bavarian Soap Shop Rock" and "Improvisation On Gulp A Sonata" to be remixes of old lp tracks. Nonetheless, this CD reissue is a definite should-have.
