There is one song on this album which has haunted me (no pun intended) through the years with its beauty and truth, although it took losing the rest of my family and my soulmate to really drive it home. That song is "We Don't Live Here No More". With lines like "Draw me a picture of an island without any seas. Show me a map of the whole world without boundaries. Build me a home without windows or doors to go in. Then empty the ashtray, sweep up the floor, put a lock on your door. If somebody calls in the morning, just say we don't live here no more... "Dream of a time when the tides ebbing now rise again. Then you will know that to die is not really to end. Living and dying are both your most intimate friends. So empty the ashtray, sweep up the floor, put a lock on your door. If somebody calls in the morning, just say we don't live here no more." The melody is simple but beautiful, and the whole song is so profound and true. There are many songs on this album which I love, but this one just blows me away. What a way to say that the soul and Love are eternal! Read full review
