This is one of the best Floyd albums. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you are just getting into the band. I would start with "Dark Side..", then "Wish You Were Here", then after experiencing those two albums, buy this one. It has excellent dynamics with a very unique song structure. The first and last songs are very short, but the middle three ("Dogs", "Pigs", and "Sheep") play over ten minutes. This is one of those albums to listen to as a whole... there are no "hits" on this one.
