Whilst I am very partial to Morrissey's prior and first solo album, this is, in all fairness, his best record to date. And I own all albums and all singles, all the way up to today's 'That's how people grow up'. It just rocks. It's is hi tempo with some good melo-drama, 'We'll let you know' a timeless 'feel sorry for me' Morrissey classic, the rest of the songs also an absolute delight, and all in different ways. An absolute must have for anyone interested in the man's career or anyone trying to find a continuation to the abruptly ended Smiths...
I highly recommend this album. Most of the songs were written by Morrissey and his guitarist Alain Whyte (Whyte writes the music, with Morrissey handling the lyrics) Production by the one and only Mick Ronson doesn't hurt. The guitars have a killer tone (especially on "your gonna need some one on your side"). The overall production and mix is top notch, highly recommend this album before you buy any other Morrissey albums, there are alot more up tempo tunes on this album then on others.
O.K., so your bored, your tired, life sucks? Hey suckers, thats no way to live, cos you won't last long. So why not turn Your Arsenal way up loud and listen to Morrissey rock out?? Your Arsenal will satisfy the BNP, Batman fans, Glue sniffers, Fat people, Northerners, not londoners and ofcorse the depressed. So, "give yourself a break, before you break down" and if you have bought Your Arsenal,...Buy It Again!! Molly Mae Morrissey September 2010
Nobody’s going to convince me otherwise , That’s definitely Ronno’s chops on some of these tunes. Without a doubt

This cd was everything I wanted in more. I love Morrissey's sultry voice. It was love at first listen. :]
