this album is a special and old classic album.which influenced the likes of led zepplin and supertramp just to name a few.i was delighted to find on cd therefore thats why i purchased it.highly recommended.check out for yourself.ENJOY!
A good, varied selection of tracks from this soft prog rock quartet. Extensive use of horns and flutes etc. give this album a mellow feel, and the songwriting is inventive, with good hook lines, clever lyrics and varied styles of tracks. Tracks are varying in length up to 7-8 minutes, with good guitar, sax and flute breaks throughout, plus Tony Connor (Hot Chocolate) on drums. Audiences only hit single "Indian Summer" is on this album, which I remember and is why I bought the album. Difficult to define the overall style, maybe shades of Traffic, Jethro Tull and Family does it best. Only limitation is Howard Werth's vocal, which can be nasal and slightly artificial sounding and annoying on occasion. Overall rating is "Good" allowing for their status as a little known cult band. I would recommend this album to those who enjoy this genre, as I do - its surprisingly good for such a little known band.Read full review
very underated prog rock act of the 70's...in the top league of flute/sax orientated bands of that time...didn't quite make it as big as they should.
