I've always been a fan of Kansas' musical style and I already had this one on LP, but wanted the cleaner sound of the CD. I bought it specifically for the songs "Relentless", "Hold On", "Curtain Of Iron" and "No One Together", all written by Kerry Livgren. This is the first Kansas album released after Kerry became a "Born Again" Christian and that new perspective comes through in his lyrics. This was also the last album (not counting "Somewhere To Elsewhere" that included all the original members. I definitely recommend this for any fan of the progressive rock genre that Kansas has so completely perfected. By the way, their all time best album (in my opinion) is "Vinyl Confessions".
Look, I really didn't knmow about Liv and all the BAC jazz, I remember buying this album back in the H.S. days and i was blown away. Relentless is great, Got to Rock on is great, No One Together is great and (DON'T LAUGH!) My favorite songs are 'Loner' and No room For A Stranger' WOW! And of course there's the great 'Hold On'. I could listen to this CD all day long. this CD is to Kansas what 'Anamials' is to Floyd. Don't MISS it! DTD
