Notes
His label debut for Eclectone Records. Chris Perricelli worked with four well known producers and engineers in the area including Ed Tinley, Jacques Wait, Mike Wisti, and Chris Dorn to create a glorious rock album. This Twin Cities rock band made a break through with this album Soulful Automatic. It's retro feel but uniquely fresh sounding songs made this album a top ten favorite of many local establishments and the band was named Best Rock Band in 2007 by The City Pages. 'It starts out sounding like 'Led Zeppelin III.' The third song, 'Undertow,' pulls off a stellar Big Star. Deeper in, we hear the Who, T. Rex, Cheap Trick. This is classic rock for people tired of the same 50 songs on KQRS, delivered with an oversized earnestness by Little Man's little frontman, Chris Perricelli.' - Chris Riemenschneider, Star Tribune. 'On their third album, glam-rock trio Little Man sounds confident and concise, with Chris Perricelli's undeniably Marc Bolan-esque vocals giving the tracks a warmly familiar vibe. And the four different producers each bring out the best in Perricelli and company, almost making the disc sound like a greatest-hits compilation.' - Ross Raihala, Pioneer Press.
