Although this collection is nearly 10 years old, this collection is a good one. The tracks because of the remastering that was involved, bring a fresh listening experience each time it is played. All the years of JT are covered from 1968 to 1993 with selected tracks from singles and LPs. The downside to the Anniversary collection is the lack of a good booklet or liner notes from Ian - there simply isn't any except for a track listing. Total tracks: 36 on 2 discs.
This is the second two disc cd of this I have owned. I wore the first one out playing my drums to it. 27 (about this many) great JT songs. I play my drums to this two disc set and 2 plus hours just go by.

Well aside from Ian Anderson standing on 1 leg throughout an entire concert playing a flute, this is a great compilation. Spans their entire career. The band that not only made it cool for people to want to play the flute, but in a rock setting no less & Ian makes it work. Lastly they beat out Metallica for best Metal Performance in 1988 (the 1st year of the category) All you need is this, Aqualung, Thick as a Brick & Crest of a Knave (this is what beat out Metallica) and that is all the Tull you need.
What can I say other than is selection of Tull captures the mystical and magical wizardy of a band I have been a avid fan of for over 45 years...
