First of all, I'll say that I was totally blown away by this bands talent and ingenious collaboration with each other, and this rating is solely based on the DVD quality, not the band. Although the live performances are complete masterpieces in themselves, there are a few annoying problems with this DVD. First of all the sound quality and picture quality in most of the earlier songs that were played are not the best, especially for a DVD that has been released in 2005, and some of the songs that are featured on disc one are the same exact ones featured on disc two. Also, I was kind of disappointed when I saw them perform 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson a song that I was really looking forward to which was just a short video showing Greg Lake singing Schizoid Man well it was audio dubbed over by the original song. Most of their more popular songs were extremely short like Tarkus, Tank, Lucky Man, and Toccata. Overall, it was still well worth the money to see the spinning piano sequence (Which seemed dubbed as well) and a lot of insane sequences where Keith Emerson plays the keyboard backwards, with knives, and all of his other crazy antics. There are also a bunch of extras like an hour long documentary which gives each band members take on the split, and other song covers. Even though some of their popular songs may be short they make up for by the very good performances like Hoedown, Knife Edge, Touch and Go, and a few others. in my opinion it was well worth the money spent, and very entertaining. Any fan of this very unique and talented band should own this dvd. It contains a thorough documentary, promo videos, and live recordings including the very hard-to-find California Jam (1974) performance. The interviews are very interesting and highly informative. A must own for any die hard ELP fan !

Disappointed. Both audio and video very poor quality. I love ELP, so poor quality I haven't even bothered to view the 2nd disc. The DVD format is weird, took trial & error to play. Wish I could get my money back.
