Ironhorse has done it! This release is every bit as good as the predecessor "Fade to Bluegrass", their tribute to Metallica. What makes a cover song great is that you have already fallen in love with the original, now you can hear another great verrsion, in this case, a mellow bluegrass version. When you hear the first song, "Crazy Train", instantly it is clear that Ironhorse has gotten in touch with their black roots to make a bluegrass album.
I've been a big fan of Black Sabbath for years. I also like good bluegrass and I knew that Iron Horse was good bluegrass. You would be surprised how well Ozzy translates to bluegrass.
This is yet another album by Iron Horse that I absolutely love. I grew up with my teen years listing to Metallica and Ozzy. Iron Horse just does an amazing job recreating some of the old songs. Bluegrass Rules!!!
Bought this as a gift for a friend who loves Sabbath. He called and advised me to buy a copy for myself immediately. Brilliant versions of Ozzy and Sabbath classics. I would recommend this to any fan of Osbourne.
