This second part that was originally made in 1992 covers the period subsequent to frontman Ozzy´s departure, from renaissance with Ronnie James Dio in "Heaven And Hell" to the re-union with Dio for the "Dehumanizer" proyect. In this dvd we saw the many changes to their line-up like vocalist Dio, Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes (Tony Iommi got predilections for Ritchie Blackmore´s singers because besides the 3 mentioned before, he tries to hired David Coverdale but he didn´t accept), Ray Gillen mentioned for about 2 seconds because he only made a tour with them (Seventh Star) and recorded some songs that never have been officially released instead they re-recorded(The Eternal Idol) with new vocalist Tony Martin(good singer but very underrated); drummers like Vinnie Appice, Bev Bevan, Eric Singer and Cozy Powell; bassist like Dave Spitz, Bob Daisley and Neil Murray and finally they give credit to keyboardist Geoff Nicholls who plays with them since 1980 behind the stage; this time the story is tell by more people besides Tony Iommi we heard funny and interesting stories from Gillan, Dio, Cozy Powell and by Hugh Gilmour Sabbath designer and Author, among others. The programme have been mixed in 5.1 surround sound and have animated menus, album gallery and as special datum in the second icon next to the "TV Crimes" song during the fist part of this hidden footage, you can hear a repeated chant in the background that sound like "satan is great"; it´s just a couple people´s voices quietly repeating throughout that fist portion of the segment, hey it´s Black Sabath, what do you expect? The only thing that bothers me is that most of the 11 promo videos shown are truncated or they talk above the song, something that doesn´t occurs in the first volume and it´s disappointing that we only hears brief snippets specially of the Gillan era and from the "Dehumanizer" album, for this I only give 4 stars.Read full review
This DVD has many videos from the Dio years and on. The sound and picture are excellent. It even has some short interviews with Dio, Ian Gillian, and The Late Great Cozy Powell. The only thing I don't like is that some of the videos are cut short such as Trashed and Zero the Hero with Ian Gillian. Other videos are overdubbed with comentary from different members of Black Sabbath. However, if you loved Black Sabbath after Ozzy, you will love this DVD. Ricci
