The village lanterne is by far there best work to date gets off to a lively start with 25 years and an unusual sound of richie on a hurdy gurdy and candice on a bagpipe chandler, what a great sound throuout this album.St tersa is given a wonderfull make over, the cd however could have done without streets of london,a woefull version thankfully the only let down of a superb set and a welcome re run of street of dreams to finnish off
I originally bought this just for one track - 'The Streets of London' - after hearing their version of 'The Times They Are a Changing' (from the 'Fires at Midnight' album). Candice Night has an amazing voice and is really well suited to this type of song. I was so impressed with the rest of the album that I haven't stopped playing it since it arrived. Fantastic
Wonderful, enchanting please lift your life and smile while listening to this. I have found this a delightful album and will be buying many more - Merry meet and stay warm.
