Very well done package with fine liner notes about and from this doomed musician. You get the earliest try at a soundtrack recording from the late 1960's ,with pretty good sound for it's age. Then disc one is rounded out by slightly " muddier" recordings with interesting ,variable results, but historical value. Disc two has an inner sleeve featuring an Egyptian eye shedding a blue tear....here the blues is featured from the "in prison" band and you can hear the guys "jelling" at this point.....getting it together ,so to speak. By disc three here the band is often hitting it out on all cylinders ....fine ,slightly spooky jams and pieces are featured. Then disc 4 is the full soundtrack.....by this material Bobby and the band are fully powerful and in command! Great soundtrack recording of historic value for this art-film. Also note that disc three and four here are very fine quality in sound. Two posters are included, plus lots of cool art too! Get this , you won't be disappointed. A true document of the progression that came to produce what must be one of the finest "incarceration" recordings ever made, and all against terrible odds....a triumph!Read full review
