I typically do NOT like live performance discs, but this is my single greatest exception. Few bands can measure up to their studio "polished best," but Oingo Boingo was a band that really brought their energy and passion to the stage, especially at their legendary Halloween performances in Los Angeles. This concert CD is a perfectly assembled and edited conveyance of that pinnacle moment - the band's decision to go out on top. It is an excellent compilation of the band's history and phenomenal talent, doing FAR better justice to the band's memory than either the 'Anthology' or 'Millennium Collection' re-compiled studio discs. And the fluid one-concert progression of 'Farewell' blows away the arguably disjointed feel of the band's other live offering, 'Boingo Alive'. It's also a terrible shame that 'Farewell' is now out of print. If you can get your hands on either this CD or the 'Farewell' concert DVD (also out of print), do it! I wasn't there' I was probably working up in the Sierras' so ya" this is an awesome performance " of some truly amazing songs! An incredibly talented group of musicians led by an equally incredible singer' song writer" magician! With a crazy imaginative take on the terrors of reality or rather what perceive it to be! Classic" Score!

Production value at point of recording not good. Mastering was "meh." In contrast, Oingo Boingo "ALIVE" is superlative (one of the best live recordings ever made).

Some bands are just awsome live. Onigo Boingo is one of them. If you are an Oingo Boingo fan, this is the one album you should not be without. Danny Elfman really gives this recording tons of energy. My favorite rendition of Piggies is on this double cd. Totally worth it.
