I have always heard of Zao, but never bought one of their CDs. I decided to buy "(Self-Titled)" because the song "5 Year Winter" was Track 1. I read in HM Magazine that this song was Zao's most memorable song, so I bought this album. "5 Year Winter" turned out to be a great song- with an awesome breakdown at the end with the vocalist repeating, "Burn it down and walk away." This was the best song on the album. In my opinion the next three best songs are: "The End of His World" (track 8), "A Tool to Scream" (track 3), and then "Trashcanhands" (track 5). "(Self-Titled)" is a great Zao album and would recommend it to anyone wanting to hear a great metalcore album.
Was disappointed with the condition of the disc as every song skipped at some point. Could not listen to any song the whole way through. Case and artwork were all good however.
