Brent Daniel: On the record I grew up at a time when skipping an album track meant having to physically lift a phonograph arm off of rotating vinyl to set it down again. In the same foreign language I'll say my songwriting and recording reflects an all killer/no filler mentality due to earliest memories of great records by Elton John, David Bowie, The Monkees, CCR, The Rolling Stones and eventually The Beatles (solo and together). I loved records you could play all the way through. Later, XTC, The Producers, Split Enz, and Crowded House would impress me in the same way. Easier wished for than made - I find myself in the best musical time of my life. Abundant inspired material stretches lengths of several CD's yet to come. Enjoy! Brent Daniel Art House Cinema.
