Mention Sinead and the first thing that prob comes up to mind is her controversial image and her shocking deed on Saturday Nite Live tearing up that picture. Well, it's been 25 years since that controversial act, but as an Artist, Sinead always took chances. This CD is her first and where it all started. I would rate this one even higher than her much-lauded follow up "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got". There are songs here that even sound great 30 years after its release in 1988, especially "I Want Your Hands On Me" --- what a song and what a performance! Someone mentioned the sound needs to be Remastered and I would def agree. But the album as a whole is visonary and Sinead sounds incredibly mature and ahead of her time. Get it, you won't regret it !!

Every girl needs that certain CD they can throw in the car and drive around singing at the top of their lungs on a bad day. This is my favorite, with 4 non blondes coming in a close second. I highly recommend!

This album is scintillatingly brilliant and groundbreaking especially given the time it was released. The only thing that's aged miserably here is the sound quality. Off the disc it's far too quiet and thin. At this time (Apr. 2007) the album has never been remastered. It is a classic that must be remastered sometime soon, but it's still good to have this CD as a mere document to what a great album it is.
Love this cd, it's one of my all time favorites. Also the cd is in great condition! I would defiantly recommend this to everyone!!!! I will order again from them in the future!!! Prices are great as well. I grew up listening to sinead o conner. So this brings back great memories. Very nastalgic for me.
