At first I was sceptical about listening to "Paper Sun" and "Low Spark of High Heeled Boy" on the same album. However, Traffic is a band that somehow blends together musically in such a way, over such a long period of time, that you can actually produce a compilation album containing early work and later pieces that are seemingly miles apart in terms of evolution, and it works. It all flows in a way that is surprising and revelatory of the band's underlying unity of purpose, right from the start. If you don't know Traffic yet, have no fear about buying this album first. It'll introduce you to some of the best music of the sixties and seventies, by far.
Traffic was a hell of a great band. This compilation of Greatest Hits is a must for any Traffic fan. Both Dave Mason & Steve Winwood had successful solo careers

I'm a huge fan of Traffic. I was excited to have some deep cover songs you never hear on the radio.

Nice remaster. Could have had some songs that were left out. But... all is forgiven for a nice sounding Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys, Hey Mr. Fanasy. There is only so much you can do, sound quality wise, with stuff this old. But...am so glad that stuff like this is finally getting remastered! We (I hope) know what all 80's issues cd's sound like...CRAP!
