After the Cooper Temple Clause's excellent first two albums I feel that this album was a slight letdown. Although it includes the fantastic singles 'Damage' and 'Homosapiens' I thought overall the album was okay but I don't think letting the other members of the band take lead vocal duties instead of Ben was a great idea. If you are a fan of TCTC and haven't got the singles from this album then I would suggest buying this album. If you haven't listened to much of the Cooper Temple Clause's music before I would recommend buying 'Kick up the fires and let the flames break loose' or 'See this through and leave' instead of this.
The Cooper Temple Clause, minus a member, still deliver on this album. There is a lot less synth this time around, with the band reverting to more guitar based melodies; used intelligently as you would expect from the band. Opening track 'Damage' demonstates this perfectly. If you are familiar with previous albums, you will still find those moments of 'classic' CTC on this album.
