The very best thing about Leftover Crack is their lyrics...powerful, thought-provoking political punk with very eloquent song writing, laid on top of amazingly well-orchestrated music involving instruments not really found in much punk music, like pianos and organs. Beautiful melodies and rocking, raging guitars are only the beginning. STZA's vocal talents encompass a wide range of sounds as well. Leftover Crack's message is very political: corporations are poisoning the world's people, lands, and cultures; The Christian Right in America is more dangerous than so-called terrorists; etc. But they are so well-spoken, intelligent, and musically groundbreaking that they should not be compared with your typical politipunk band. These real-life gutter punk squatters are about as sincere, genuine, and concerned as Jello Biafra, and their ideas are revolutionary. Favorite Mediocre Generica tracks of mine: The Good, the Bad, and the Leftover Crack; Nazi White Trash; Born to Die; and Crack City Rockers. Check it out...it'll blow your mind!Read full review
