This 2-CD release is much like most other live Damo Suzuki recordings. Improvised, space-out (at times) and sounds like the the musicians are indeed enjoying what they're doing. 'Abhayamudra' is noted to be compiled from various U.S. and European shows Suzuki had performed [with no rehearsals whatsoever] with Cul De Sac through out 2002-03. Tracks here that I was most impressed with were the fifteen-minute "Belgrade 1", "Berlin 4", the wonderfully tripping "Belgrade 6" and the awesome "Cambridge 1". I'm - of course assuming they decided to name these songs for this title by the city that the track was played in. Overall, a good pick.
