I actually already own this, but on VHS and I've been wanting to get a copy on DVD for awhile and I finally pulled the trigger. I also went to the Portland stop on this tour, got our "tickets" the day of the show by pure chance. Standing by the 'Will-Call' windows while my friend when searching for tickets, another window opened for the floor surrounding the stage itself. I called my friend over, was first in line, went in through a separate entrance and was escorted to a gate to the floor. Amazing show and this DVD is an excellent representation of their live dynamic during that particular time. Sure they had short hair, but I've been long of the volition that it's not how long your hair is, but how metal your heart is and it's obvious that 'Tallica lost ZERO of their collective heart. Sure they had a near break up caught on film for the world to see, but they worked through it and I'll be damned if they just didn't get BETTER with each passing year. I've given this concert film five stars in every sort of poll or review similar to this one and again, I'm giving this piece a five star rating. I'm just sayin'...Read full review
If you are not up to some foul language, you might not like this too well, it is NOT ALL that way, but, be warned. I have lived near all my life in Fort Worth, had to miss the show, and after all these years, I finally got the DVD set, and I can tell you I was blown away. It is an awsome show and I am sure I will view it many times. The extras take you through things like the stage set up, and are all well done. I had NO idea why it was called Cunning Stunts, untill disk two, that is ALL I will say on that. :) I would say that any one who likes Metallica, even a little should get this set. BUT, be careful who you buy from, I had to buy it twice, my first one turned out to be on DVDR (from S. Korea), it was boot leg, only one disk at that, but I see he/she is doing two now, so word to the wise, there are pirates on eBay.Read full review
This was an amazing concert. The cinematography is spot on, the audio is flawless. And the antics are ridiculously good. This is one of my all time favorite live events. From Newsteds mud-thick bass, to Kirk's blazing solos (and one serious solo from Hetfield as well), Ulrich's hyperactive percussions and Hetfields bone crushing riffs and guttural roars, it's an excellent show with gorgeous lighting, great stunts, superb music and all around just a blast of a good time.

Filmed during the "Poor Touring Me" tour in 1997. This was right in between Load and Reload while the band was heavily experimenting with their sound and image. There's some behind the scenes and a massive photo gallery from the entire tour in the special features. Good stuff. Any Metallica fan should be pleased.
