I have always loved this album by David Sylvian since first buying it on tape when it came out in the 80s. I particularly enjoy the combination of the A side of words and music with the B side which is mainly instrumental. This album demonstrates how David Sylvian can be just as captivating with or without his vocals. I have never ever got bored with listening to this album and it always brings back strong memories from that period and yet it always sounds so timeless and never seems to sound dated. I would reccommend this album to anyone of any age. Its perfect.
Though issued in 1984 the quality of this CD is superb. Surely it cannot be that old unless not played since it was bought. I heard background sounds that I never heard on vinyl and I'm a pro-vinyl person. Still have my turntable! Do not dismiss a CD that was produced in the 1980s. This CD I bought proofs that CD of that time are just as good as Remastered versions.
