Overall, I felt that this was a solid CD. This album definitely has several songs making it worth having. Some songs exclusive to the CD that really stood out to me are Kodoku ni Shisu Yueni Kodoku, kodou, dead tree, and Higeki wa Mabuta wo Oroshita Yasashiki Utsu. However, songs like garbage and beautiful dirt seemed similar in nature: repetitive. They lacked a deep, strong sound that reached the heart like dead tree and the final. Besides that they are still great songs to rock out to. The syle is defined and constant throughout the album and I felt like that was something that made the album powerful. It's almost like you pop in the CD and you get 50 minutes of the withering to death feeling. The booklet artwork definitely helps to enhance that atmosphere. This is an excellent album and recommended for Dir en grey fans and not fans. The album is definitely much different from their earlier works such as Gauze and Macabre and definitely towards the heavier and darker side, but there are more upbeat songs and softer songs to balance that out for people who prefer a less heavier style. Go out and get this!Read full review
when i got this CD i was suprised by how thick the case was! i had never bought a japanese CD before so this was a shock. and then the booklet was just "OMG" lol then listening to it i was even more shocked compared to older songs this was just so much more mysterious.. and serious.. the first song was so intense .. lik audience killer loop from VULGAR but this had a more... weird feeling lol a lot of the songs on here are pretty chaotic and fun lol but also much more feeling in it. Dir en grey only seems to get better with age and this is proof.. the whole album has an overlying message of "death" the guilt, pleasure and despair that lies with that.. i love this album, this is when Dir en grey finally leaves all trace of the "visual kei Diru" and trade for a more nu-metal-metalcore, industial and alternative metal sound. with really really intersting songs everywhere.. you can't get bored with any of these songs.. recomend to EVERYONE!! !Read full review
Maybe not their best album but it have a good sound. We are talkin' about Diru so it's impossible to have something really shitty with them. I'm more a fan of Gauze and Macabre but we still recognize the old style of Diru. Good metal 3 Great music of Japan 3
