An amazing return to form following a few hit and miss albums before it although in my opinion Hawkwind have never put out a truly bad album. This one rocks harder than its predecessors but still with the usual ambient interludes but vocalist /bassist Ron Tree gives hard rockers Phetamine Street, Reptoid Vision and one of the bonus tracks Archaic a punkier metal edge while band leader Dave Brock gives Waimea Canyon Drive and Clouded Vision a more melodic feel. An essential purchase for all Hawkwind diehards
