Arrived on time. No scratches and all tracks play well. I’m a huge HIM fan and needed this album to add to my collection.

wonderful deep lyrics from Ville and tight guitar from Linde which when put with the rest of the guys gives a powerful album. there is no bad song on this and there's a sound for all tastes, if you like fast metal sounds then soul on fire is for you or if a slower more flowing song you have got the funeral of hearts there's even a classic rock sound in buried alive by love. but its the alternative style of song that HIM show off here with the 4th album named after their type of music so endless dark and the sacrament are worth hearing. overall this is a brilliant album and worth getting along with all others. the only word of warning and been caght out myself with this, look up all the editions as the only downside yet upside for collectors is theres so many variations in album contents, Finnish, German, USA, UK, Japanese they can all have different track listings and some are better than others but usually are balanced enough that you need them all. then you've also got the digipaks, special and limited editions. So look to see where in the world what your buying comes from, but ... if you can track down an enhanced digipak of this album you wont be disappointed take care.Read full review
Ok, first things first. Im Lauren, I use my mum's bay. I'm 12. I love Love Metal. It's more aggressive than all their other albums. They tried to achieve the Black Sabbath/ HIM theme here, says Ville. This is a great album for those who haven't listened to much HIM. It's much louder and darker than their other albums. Listen to "Buried Alive By Love". This track is amazing. Also listen to Endless Dark, one of my personal favourites. I love this album, the music and lyrics are better than ever, with Valo's design's over the CD and cover. HIM did this album as a tribute to their favourite bands says Valo. Black Sabbath, KISS, Motorhead, Iggy Pop etc.. I believe this album is the F****** greatest. BUY IT! BUY IT! Love x
Love Metal is HIM's 4th Studio Album. It Is The Album That Was Proclaimed As The Album Of Their Prime. Entitled After The Genre Of Music They Perform (Love Metal) It Manages To Bring Alot Of "Raw Animalistic Energy" And A Good Balance Of Love Like They Always Do Equaling Up To "Love Metal". With Inspiration From Iggy Pop & Black Sabbath The Album Doesn't Go Wrong. This Album Is Brilliant For People New To HIM And Songs Such As "Buried Alive By Love", "Soul On Fire", "The Funeral Of Hearts" And "The Sacrament" Will Sure To Leave You Astounded.
Love Metal is HIM's fourth album, released on 14 April 2003. The digipak edition of this album also includes the bonus track "Love's Requiem". This is HIM's first album that made the band popular to a wider public.
