With the release of this album, Iron Maiden set off to rule all of heavy metal; not to mention the world. From start to finish there isn't a bad song on this album. With the raw sound of galloping guitars that leave perfect timing for harminizing leads, a thight rhythm section that doesn't miss a beat(no punn intended), and the raspy vocal range of the singer makes this album one of the greatest debut's of all time. Iron Maiden has since released six to seven more albums. Each one with their own concept.
This cd is great for someone wanting to get into Iron Maiden and give them a listen, most if not all hard core Maiden fans have all these songs already. Sadly though missing is songs from the first two Maiden CDs. Still though a strong GH's package.
