What's to dislike, a wonderful album by a great band.Tarja Turunun is amazing. She has a finely pitched voiced , very powerful.Reminds me of some early VALKERIE /WAGERIAN operas evolking imaged of the Neiblerngs.Tuomos Holopeinen is a very fine writer,very powerful, gifted and a great band leader.All in all a fantastic album.Very fast, lively, loud, powerful and thought provoking.Five stars in my opinion.Make time and have time to listen to this album. A very good band,the shame is the break up of the band and Tarja having left it .However am eagerly awaiting her band and albums. Strongly suggesting you go and purchance this album.Check this band out if you like power ballads.
Very tight sounding live performance. All of these musicians feed off each other, and this performance makes that clear. If you watch them live, they're all having a good time performing with each other and for the crowd. If you're new to Nightwish, this may not be the best cd to pick up. Go with a studio cd first. Once you become familiar with the music, go with this! Great "theatrical" rock.
