Ponty's the master of melody. I feel this to be the quintessential of his catalog. A most excellent display of talent is on this record(cd). Steve Smith,Alan Holdsworth,Daryl Stuermer,Ralph Armstrong and Allan Zavod line up with Ponty to deliver a beautifully orchestrated roller coaster ride through an extremely melodic safari of the the musical palette. This is truly an album that has stood the test of time. To J.L.P. I will say this; I feel your music to be immortal and thank you for all of it!
Already an old album, but great musical quality and creativity. It's sad talents of this magnitude are not found as often as in the past. Today's musical preferences are not very sophisticated.
