For those not familiar with the work of Shadofax, they have brought to the music world new sounds not for the sake of the new sounds but for the sake of the art of music making. Although I don't feel this is the best work they've done it is still a delight for the ears. One needs to review the list of instruments that are used on each album to identify the sounds they hear. Be amazed! Let your mind open up and soak up each note. I have yet to collect the entire collection but the 6 that I do have are filled with music that can touch the soul. The Dreams of Children is the album that first attracted me to the group. I thought that I had listened to the music made by angels. Listen to then all buy them all. I got to see them in concert years ago and they are just as good live as they are in the studio. Enjoy the music is hard to find and they are off the beaten path. MarkRead full review
If you like Shadowfax, you should like this CD. Like their prior releases, each song is different. All instrumentals, new age style music but with beat - possibly a bit more jazzy than other Shadowfax CDs. A couple of the selection are a bit more "rockish" than jazzy and not mellow new age music. I have loved Shadowfax since I first heard them back in the 80's; have wanted to get this CD and now have it thanks to Ebay.
