I can't help myself. Journey is just plain fun!! Steve Perry sings like he's got honey in his mouth. Niel Schon's tone and tasty licks are "like butta". It all goes together so well, like a blanket and hot chocolate on a cold night, with my wife snuggled in next to me. At my age (40+) this stuff is timeless. As a teenager, I secretly loved melodic power pop. Now I'm out of the closet and my kids like it too. Driving the car to this music makes the sun come out.
