To songs "Sparks", balancing on the verge of a pop hit, an opera miniature and a successful joke, it is impossible to pick up exact definition. The discouraging vocal of Ron Mael, capable to replace other opera troupe, has not faded at all for 38 years on a scene, and the musical palette of a duet last years continues to extend. The bit expelled for "Li'l Beethoven" (2002) (on what it was informed in the first song), all the same has returned to operetta buffoonery "Sparks", and has had very opportunely. The touches of an electronic sound flashing in the middle of violins and harps, are always pertinent and laconic. As to a song "Lighten Up, Morrissey", caused it is a lot of conversations to album release it is devoted not to the father of the British indi-rock personally, and a certain enamoured girl in it, refusing on this basis to all other admirers.Read full review
