This album has some great songs. The bandsmen aren't so great, though. If Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) or Skin (Strange Sensation) had been the guitarist, I think this album would have more faithfully reproduced what Robert Plant had in mind. For instance, the lead song, Calling to You, has some scratchy parts -- sometimes it sounds as if the player meant for the guitar to scrape -- but on reflection one realizes it's simply because Plant's music is too difficult for a non-guru guitarist to play! In all, this album has some of Robert Plant's best efforts. Some call it weird. I call it poetic.
It's Robert Plant with voice intact. Rare and fine. Robert continues to bring music into its fullness with rhythm and beat and raw soulish depth. What is in a voice that sings from the well of spirit and is strong and beautifully brought forth in undenied presence? It's Robert Plant "Fate of Nations." Buy it.

The Fate of Nations CD is another great example of the stellar work Robert Plant generated after his time as lead singer in Led Zeppelin. Every track on the album is fantastic, particularly "I Believe". What a voice this man has.

Excellent Album(CD). One of Robert Plant's very best solo Albums. Every song is excellent and addicting. I bought this CD used for an excellent price to replace the one I used to have which was stolen with many of my other CD's years ago when my car was stolen. CD is in excellent condition used.
