This album didn't turn out to be the "final" issue from Ritchie Blackmore's pet project, but it does serve as a representative capstone of their career through the 1980s. The different "colors" of the Rainbow are given expression through live performances of songs spanning their exceptional catalog, plus a couple of outstanding studio B-sides. In my opinion this collection would have benefited from more tracks from the Ronnie Jame Dio era of the band as that was the period of their greatest popularity and most sophisticated song craft, but there is still plenty to enjoy here. Rainbow is one of my all time favorite bands so this gets my highest recommendation.

Great album. This is my second purchase from this ebayer, and they are very good at getting the product out quickly. Plan on buying more music from them.
